The poetic journey All We Imagine As Light is the debut feature from filmmaker Payal Kapadia and the first Indian film to win the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival.
Prabha, a Mumbai nurse, is thrown into confusion when her estranged husband suddenly seeks contact again. Meanwhile, her younger roommate Anu looks for a way to take the next step in her secret relationship. When the two women temporarily leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind to visit a nearby coastal town, space finally arises there to give vent to their deepest desires.
