Each company starts with an idea and an enthusiastic entrepreneur. But what happens from there? Who or what can help you build your business? Imec.istart is an example of an accelerator. Imec.istart is one of Europe’s top university-linked accelerators. Since its launch in Belgium 12 years ago, it has supported over 300 companies that together raised more than €1 billion in follow-on funding. The imec.istart program recently expanded to the Netherlands, where already 25 companies are following the program to scale their (high) tech businesses.
Join us to hear the entrepreneurial journeys of Clonable and StarWarden — the highs, the lows, and how imec.istart helped them navigate the path from idea to impact.

Speakers:
Martijn Sijbers, program manager imec.istart will inform you about the selection, how imec.istart helps to build your business and how they support the entrepreneur through highs and lows with regards to team issues, funding issues or development issues.
He will be joined by a number of Dutch imec.istart selected (high) tech companies who will share their journey. How did they build their business? And what if you fail?
Clonable, Niels Arts, makes multilingual websites effortless. Their smart technology automatically mirrors content from your original site to your translated versions — instantly and without manual effort. Any updates on your original site are seamlessly reflected across all clones, keeping everything up to date in real time.
Starwarden, Nick Maassen, tackles one of the toughest technical challenges in both semiconductors and fusion reactors: heat. Their innovative 3D-printed Heat Pipe Array combines heat pipes and cooling channels in one compact component, enabling far more efficient thermal management than conventional solutions.
We will show you the sunshine and the moonside of buiding (or failing) a business. And how the imec.istart program can contribute to your growth.
