Each company starts with an idea and an enthusiastic entrepreneur. But what happens from there? Who or what can help you build your business? Imec.istart is an example of an accelerator. The concept started about 12 years ago in Belgium. Nowadays imec.istart has co-built over 300 companies and these companies combined received over € 1 billion of co-funding.

Martijn Sijbers, program manager imec.istart will inform you about the selection, how imec.istart helps to build your business and how they support the entrepreneur through highs and lows with regards to team issues, funding issues or development issues.

He will be joined by a number of Dutch imec.istart selected (high) tech companies who will share their journey. How did they build their business? And what if you fail?

We will show you the sunshine and the moonside of buiding (or failing) a business.  And how the imec.istart program can contribute to your growth.
